Year around, seasonal produce overflows from our enormous raised vegetable boxes. Scattered around the boxes we also raise raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, grapes, peaches and nectarines to provide delicious treats for visitors.
On the hillside above the pond, 300 olive trees produce large crops for harvest in late November or early December and for pressing our own olive oil. Variety is the spice of life and great olive oil. Our trees are a mix of frantoio, pendolino, maurino, leccino and manzanillo.
Growing interest inspired us to expand the garden area and create a fruit orchard of 30 apple, pear, pluot, plum, peach and cherry trees.
These areas continue to provide a wide variety of opportunities for educators, therapists and other professionals.
